How to Download Files (Google Drive, Dropbox, pCloud, MEGA)
Follow the simple steps below for each host. Desktop and Mobile instructions included. If a link is down, use the “Report issue” section at the end.

Google Drive

- Open the Google Drive link. If it shows a preview, wait for it to load.
- Click the ↓ Download icon (top-right) or File → Download.
- If you see “Can’t preview file”, click Download anyway.
- Your browser will start downloading. If blocked, choose Keep or Allow.
Mobile Steps
- Open the link in your mobile browser.
- Tap the ⋮ menu or the Download button on the preview page.
- If asked to open in the app, choose Continue in browser.
- Check your Downloads/Files app after completion.
Tip: For large files that show “Download quota exceeded,” log in to your Google account, click “Add shortcut to Drive”, then open it from your Drive and try downloading again.
Dropbox

Desktop Steps
- Open the Dropbox link. If you see a preview, locate the Download button (top-right).
- Click Download → Direct download.
- Your browser starts downloading the file. Keep the tab open until it begins.
Mobile Steps
- Open the link in your mobile browser. Tap the Download button.
- If prompted to sign in or use the app, choose Continue to website.
- Find the completed file in your Downloads/Files app.
Pro tip: If the link ends with
?dl=0
, change it to ?dl=1

- Open the pCloud link. A file or folder preview appears.
- For a single file, click Download.
- For folders or multiple files, click Download to get a ZIP. Keep the tab open while it prepares.
Mobile Steps
- Open the link in your browser. Tap Download.
- If the download button does not appear, switch to desktop mode.
- For folders, wait while pCloud creates a ZIP, then the download starts automatically.
- Locate the file in your Downloads/Files app.
Heads-up: Some mobile browsers pause large ZIPs. If that happens, try Chrome on Android or Safari on iOS.
MEGA

- Open the MEGA link. If it asks for a key, paste the part after the

. - Choose Download (browser) or Download as ZIP for folders.
- Keep the tab open until the progress reaches 100%, then your browser saves the file.
Mobile Steps
- Open the link in your browser. If prompted to use the app, choose Continue in browser.
- Tap Download or Download as ZIP.
- Wait for the in-browser progress to finish, then check your Downloads.
Note on MEGA limits: Free users have transfer limits. If you hit a limit, wait for the timer, switch networks, or try later.
Common Issues & Quick Fixes
Browser blocked the file as “unsafe”
Files here are safe. In Chrome, click the downloads bar and choose Keep. In Edge, choose Keep anyway.
Google Drive: “Download quota exceeded”
- Sign in to your Google account.
- Click Add shortcut to Drive.
- Open it from your Drive and click Download again.
Dropbox: Keeps asking to sign in / open app
Use Direct download. If the URL ends with
?dl=0
, change it to ?dl=1
.pCloud: ZIP never starts
Large ZIPs may stall. Try Chrome desktop or update your mobile browser.
MEGA: “Transfer quota exceeded”
Wait for the cooldown, switch to another network, or try later.
FAQs
Do I need to install any app?
No. All links work in the browser. Apps are optional.
The preview won’t load. Can I still download?
Yes. Use the Download button even if the preview fails.
Where do I find the file after download?
Check your browser’s downloads list or your device’s Files app.
Are these files password protected?
Unless mentioned, no. If a password is required, it will be shown with the link.
Can I resume an interrupted download?
Some browsers allow resume. If not, restart from the link.
